Finding the perfect substitute for yourself to help you manage your life
That is what we do at Alter Ego Concierge     |

Our approach is simple - we believe in relationships.

From the beginning, we believe that developing a strong relationship is vital in order to properly understand your needs, preferences, and to help you find the candidate who is going to best suit your needs. We prescreen every candidate we represent, personally speak with all of their references, and our accredited background investigator performs a thorough check on social security, motor vehicle, and criminal history. After every successful placement, we believe in ongoing communication with our clients and candidates to continue to build on every relationship. Clients have the benefit of knowing that our candidates truly are the best of the best, and we will see you through every step of the process of finding your own Alter Ego.

Frequently Asked Questions

There are so many staffing agencies. What sets you apart?
We are your one stop staffing and concierge company. We operate as your private home human resources--from background checks salary negotiations, bonus reviews, to after-placement consulting--we are here every step of the way.

Where do you find your candidates?
Our strongest network is word of mouth--referrals from past candidates placed, clients, and friends. We are also active members in local nanny networks, schools, and charitable organizations that provide us with a great pool of the best candidates around!

Why are your fees higher than many agencies in the area?
We maintain the highest standards, and we are not a resume house. We are here to listen to your needs, actively screen for the most experienced candidates, and ultimately help you to make a truly important decision in allowing someone to work in your home. Our job is not done when the fee is paid. We continue to build relationships with our candidates and clients, and always welcome dialogue after the hire.

Who are your candidates?
We represent the most professional, experienced and loyal staff one can find. All candidates must have a minimum four years of experience at the position they are applying for. All candidates that come through our elite agency are U.S. citizens or are legally authorized to work in the United States. All of our candidates use English fluently as a native or as a second language. The majority of our candidates are high school graduates and a large number have a university degree.

How long does the process take?
The search can take anywhere from 1-4 weeks, depending on the requirements and specifications. We strive to make the process as simple and quick as possible, so that you can enjoy having your time cleared!

What does your background check cover?
We run a very thorough background check, which covers criminal, social security, and motor vehicle both state and nationwide. All clients are provided with a copy of the background check upon formal hire.

Do you check references, or are letters of recommendation suitable?
While a reference letter is a great starting point, we require the ability to speak with a minimum of 2 professional references.
